An unusual take for a trans media social campaign to fight workplace discrimination of LGBT people, a serious situation
in Italy. Developed in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano University and Comune di Milano (Milan’s
City Municipality) inside the “Non Negare” (Don’t Deny, in Italian)
project, the goal of the campaign is
to support, persuade and strengthen victims of discrimination to report
any violation of the European law about such discrimination. This is achieved by introducing the Visibles concept, evoking trans media movies’ campaigns, regular workers who reported their cases of discrimination and so found justice, a better job and increased quality of life. The campaign revolved around a trailer-like motion graphic, posters, social media activity and a real event held in Bovisa (Milano) February 2012.
